OLD NUMBER TWO EDITION

BENTLEY 1930 SIX 'OLD NUMBER TWO'

Bentley Speed Six works car, chassis number HM2868, is famously known as ‘Old Number Two’ and is one of the finest and most original works Bentleys in existence today.

It was built by Bentley to compete in the important 1930 Le Mans race in which, driven by Dick Watney and Frank Clement, it ultimately came second behind stable mate Old Number One. Prior to that it had conclusively won the renowned 1930 Brooklands double twelve driven by famous “Bentley Boy” Woolf “Babe” Barnato.

We are producing a limited edition of six very important sculptures made of aluminium from Old No.2 and mounted upon her original engine conrods, plus two editions of cufflinks, the Radiator and Spinner. All are cast using components removed from Old Number Two during the car’s two year restoration / preservation
undertaken by R.C. Moss.
